Washi Dress in Japanese Cotton

I finished this Washi Dress late last year and took it on a weekend trip to Nelson, NZ. This is a great, easy dress that fits straight from the pattern, size XL, without any fuss or alterations. The only thing I seem to faff with is the armhole binding, but other than that, quick, easy and comfortable.

The Dets:

Pattern: Washi Dress by Made by Rae (Downloadable PDF)

Size: XL with no alterations

Fabric: Japanese Cotton, picked up for a bargain price of 100Y per metre.

What did you change: Maybe add some length, so it sits below the knee next time

Would you make it again: Most definitely

What do you love about this pattern: The sleeves, super cute kimono-ish.

Inspiration for this make: Check out the flickr page for an inspiration injection!
